Azim Premji Foundation

The Azim Premji Foundation is a well-known name today for its contribution to the field of education and child welfare. They sum up their vision in a single line: “To significantly contribute to quality universal education as a foundation to a just, humane and equitable society”. They have achieved much and changed many lives.

We are proud to have them as one of our partners and as a start, they sent us a pack of CDs (educational software content), beautifully illustrated and designed. I wanted to become a child all over again just so that I get to be in a class where interesting ‘cartoons’ are shown as part of a classroom lesson. :)

Blessed are these children!

sugary release

My New Year wishes come along with a sincere apology to all our readers for not coming up with any new posts in a long time.

However, this does not in any way indicate that EFF wasn’t doing much! In fact, the past few months have been tiring, nerve-racking, challenging, but exciting and fun too. To beat the cold wave (our AC remote control ran out of battery and we couldn’t figure it out how to turn it off!) and to keep our adrenaline pumping, we ended up slurping cups of sugar syrup (read chai) and the result is for all to see. Oodles of expanding waistlines. But that’s ok. We are cool. After all, we are almost ready with our technology although a little behind schedule. Our first internal office release happened three weeks back…and all of us, including our chai boy clapped and hugged. It was indeed a joyous moment…one more step closer to our dreams.

We are now working on our interface designs, fixing a couple of pesky bugs here and there. And it won’t be long for you to catch EFF live in action! Do whisper a prayer for us :)

I have some pictures here. This is my treat for being our loyal, faithful readers!
